At our  Stated Meeting Dinner on January 14, the San Jose Scottish Rite honored the Masters of 2013 for their devotion and service to their Blue Lodge and to Freemasonry in general. As we all know, only a select few Brothers ever rise through all the Officer positions to the Oriental Chair in the East. It takes hard work, perseverance, a working plan, the ability to lead and mentor the Lodge, and the personality to garner the support of their Brethren. Unfortunately, not all of the Masters of 2013 were able to attend, but those who did were certainly worthy of the honor bestowed upon them.

From left to right above are: Ill Ken Nagel, Personal Representative; Wors Herschel Amos, Pacific Grove #331; Wors Mark Brown, Golden Rule #479; Wors Frank Cruz, Monterey #217; Wors David Gibson, SC Valley Daylight #844; Wors BJ McCuiston, South Valley #187; Wors Matthew Spencer, Liberty #299; Wors Christopher Willingham, Paideia #852. Congratulations to all these fine Brothers! Please join us on Dec 9, 2014, when we will honor the Masters of 2014.
