The theme for the February Scottish Rite dinner was love and romance -- Scottish Rite honors our Sweethearts at this annual dinner.  Dining room tables were decorated with red hearts and table centerpieces were mini red and white roses. (Thank you Grace Stephens and Mary Lou Johnson )
With a dining room decorated in bright red hearts, set against a background of very white tablecloths and table drapes, Rite members, their wives, escorts and friends enjoyed fellowship and a fine dining experience at the February monthly meeting and dinner.
Working their way around the hors d' oeuvre table, a line of others were seen loading their plates with a variety of finger-sized vegetables, cheeses, crackers and other tasty treats.
The main dinner, prime rib, was accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes, perfectly flavored, and roasted mixed vegetables, cooked in a savory sauce.  At the time of the dinner, soft dining room music could be heard in the background.
Dessert was a yummy chocolate cake.
A large video screen was displayed in the dining room and the pictures from both Ill. Leo B. Mark's Reception and the Scottish Rite 2008 Installation of Officers were displayed.
The Scottish Rite monthly dinner and meeting, with the addition of the hors d' oeuvre table, wine offerings and new dining room experience, is an event that members will enjoy.  Please make your reservations to attend the monthly Scottish Rite Meetings and dinner by phoning 408.978.7483.
