Ablaze with bright red, green and white decorations of Christmas, and  with aromas of freshly prepared hors d' oeuvres in the hospitality area, San Jose Scottish Rite Members, their spouses, escorts and friends, enjoyed a delightful time talking with their friends and enjoying the delicious hors d' oeuvres and beverages at the monthly stated meeting and dinner on December 11th.
At the conclusion of the hospitality, members, spouses, escorts and friends adjourned to the main dining room and were seated at especially prepared tables; Christmas centerpieces prepared by Mary Lou Johnson and Grace Stephens and beautiful glossy white flatware with cleverly folded red napkins on the tables.
The Christmas dinner included fresh green salad, gourmet chicken in a unique, edible wrap, rice with asparagus and dessert, an excellent French pastry. Special tasty "breads" were also available at each dining room table.
Preparation for a holiday dinner begins with the selection of well-recommended 5 -star caterer, and included in the holiday dinner preparation and planning, is the dedicated salaried staff and volunteers who assist with table set-up, food service and table cleanup and dishwashing : Mary Lou Johnson,  Dan Brothers, Philipe and Oscar, Grace Stephens,  Hazel Winter, Bill Roberts and his wife Ruth: Royce Ford, Hal Leister, Richard Fisher, Ken Nagel, Jack Harris, Richard Myers, and at times, other wives and friends that contribute. Thanks to all of you for your efforts on behalf of the San Jose Scottish Rite Bodies.
Thanks to General Secretary of All Bodies, Robert Rowan for all the planning that he's required to do to ensure a successful monthly dinner meeting at our center.
