Smiles and small talk, punctuated with occasional laughter, were seen and heard around the hors d'oeuvre table, placed in the dining room for the benefit of attendees at Scottish Rite's monthly dinner -- traditionally held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
Finger food, wine and soft drinks are available at this newly-installed hors d'oeuvre area and all attendees, after purchasing your dinner tickets, should visit this area for pre-dinner snacks and beverages. We can thank Robert Rowan, Secretary of All Bodies, for coming up with the idea of food and snacks in the dining room prior to the regular food service.
The November monthly Scottish Rite dinner , held on Tuesday, the 13th, featured roast turkey, mashed potatoes and gravy, a green salad plus coffee, tea and dessert -- all for $ 10.00. The dining room dinner tables, set for eight persons in the round, provides a perfect setting for the small talk which all of us enjoy with our friends.
Members and escorts, if you plan on attending the monthly Scottish Rite dinner / and meeting, please telephone Mary Lou Johnson -- at the San Jose Scottish Rite Center. Her phone number is 408.978.7483
