The July stated meeting and dinner at San Jose Scottish Rite was well attended and saw our members dressed for the theme --Bar-B-Que; Levies and shirts without ties was the uniform of the night.
Members, wives, escorts and others lined up for the hors d' oeuvres and enjoyed these while preparing the mouth-watering and tender tri-tips steaks on the new Bar-B-Ques thoughtfully provided by the Scottish Rite management staff.
The dinner menu was traditional July Americana, tri-tip steak or chicken, potato salad, macaroni salad, corn on the cob, Bandito beans, coffee, tea and savory sweet strawberries over shortcake that was prepared by Hazel Winter. Thanks Hazel for your effort on behalf of our dinner guests.
Members, wives, escorts and others enjoyed a relaxing dinner and fellowship with friends, and, as always, the dining room
assistants---Jack Harris, Alan Spalding, Ken Nagel, Bob Rowan, Dan Brothers, Phil and Oscar were assisting with food service and preparation.
Join our members and others at the San Jose Scottish Rite monthly meetings and dinners; the 2nd Tuesday of each month and only $ 12.00 for each meal.
