San Jose Scottish Rite's monthly meeting, with a buffet dinner prior to the meeting, was held on Tuesday, September 11, 2007 at the San Jose Scottish Rite Center.

Members and their wives and friends enjoyed an excellent dinner, with wine and dessert.

The San Jose Scottish Rite Bodies have been utilizing the services of a food caterer to prepare, deliver and serve our monthly meals and this service assists the Bodies by having hot meals ready for our members and friends at the scheduled 6:30 P.M. dinner hour. Catered food service avoids the time-consuming tasks of our members having to grocery shop, prepare and other sundry tasks associated with food service. The Masonic youth groups provide table service and they are paid and receive a free meal.

Entertainment for our monthly meetings has been reduced to four or five times per year ( special occasions-Sweetheart's Night, Easter, Christmas and the like). Members having opinions on the entertainment should contact Robert Winter, Pers. Rep., Robt Rowan, General Secretary; Roger Bibb or any of the four masters of the bodies, and discuss the issue with them.

Remember, monthly Scottish Rite meetings are held 2nd Tuesday of each month; dinner at 6:30 P.M. and reservations are required. Phone 408.978.7483 for reservations.
