We received a very nice message in September from Bro. Charlie Gottsch and here it is in part:
“Its been over 20 years since I received my 32° at a special reunion in Salinas.  I doubt if anyone there remembers me, as I’ve been gone almost 15 years now.  I thought that it might be of some interest that this “ole” 32°Mason is still active and still practicing one of the tenants of Masonry, that of “doing something everyday for someone, for which they cannot repay you”.  The hardware section of this store (my primary responsibility) affords me the “opportunity” to do just that.  It is a very satisfying job and I hope to remain active for a few more years, at least.
I’m sorry to say that I have not been active in any Masonic organizations because of age, health and lack of convenience.  I do enjoy receiving and reading the Scottish Rite Word every month.
My best wishes for Good Health, Wealth and Happiness to all my fellow Masons there.  Keep up the good work!  You never know who you touch.
