Our great and ancient Masonic Order binds us together with one sympathetic cord of affection and trust.  The Fraternity breaks down walls of prejudice and passion and has been building an altar of charity and forbearance on which we may place our offerings of peace, unity and friendship.  There is no greater gift or honor than recruiting and then bestowing the 32nd degree, Master of the Royal Secret, upon a Master Mason.
It is a great honor to recruit, retain and/or reinstate worthy and well-qualified brothers because such action seeks not the applause of men, conceals nothing from public view that we would not willingly make known, except that which regards the forms of initiation and the means of communication by which the relationship of the members to each other is made known and recognized.  But so far as essential duties and obligations are involved, they require no concealment.  A candidate for admission is only expected to pledge his integrity and that his application for our Fraternity’s privileges is not prompted by selfish or mercenary motives, but rather by a sincere desire to be useful and beneficial to his fellow human beings.
With dedication and duty we advance daily to fulfill our obligations to the growth of our great Fraternity.  We will never deviate from this important goal.  We must constantly be aware that the destiny of our great Fraternity is in our hands.
If you know of a worthy brother who desires further “Light in Masonry”, please consider bringing him to our next Scottish Rite function.  Your reward will be seeing him grow and take part in this great Fraternity.
