We are saddened to report the loss of our beloved brother, Bob. He was a vital and integral part of our Scottish Rite family. Although our Valley will continue, it will be with a heavy heart and empty feeling within us. Bob was home in the Scottish Rite, and since his appointment as our General Secretary, he was always present to ensure that all aspects of the Valley ran efficiently and to the betterment of all its members.  Over his tenure, San Jose Valley has been strengthened , and its operations run more smoothly.
I am personally thankful to have been able to call Bob a true friend. His counsel as my right arm in the Valley, was invaluable. I feel a personal loss as I can no longer have those daily phone calls to just chat.
We offer our prayers to his children during this time of loss. But we want them to know that their Dad was loved by all who knew him, and that our lives are the better for his presence among us. We give thanks to God for giving us the time we had with Bob and how much he touched our lives. I would ask each you to reflect on your own relationship with Bob and how he touched your life.
Bob will be deeply missed. Farewell friend and brother, and may God guide you on your journey as you travel to that celestial lodge above.
