Hal Leister

This year brings many new opportunities and challenges for the Scottish Rite Bodies. One challenge is to gain more participation of our brethren. There are many members that are not attending our stated meetings and our reunions for various reasons. It is your leadership and experience which contributes so heavily to the success of our organization. Your participation in Scottish Rite affairs will serve as a check and balance of the programs, plans, and leadership. Your participation continues to be one of the key concepts to our success.
The Reunions and degrees have been crafted to teach various lessons. It would be unrealistic to suppose that any person could comprehend all our lessons at first blush. For this reason we encourage members of Scottish Rite to faithfully attend our meetings and reunions, in order to refresh our memories by recital of the lessons of wise philosophy.
Our meetings have been designed to maximize the available time for socializing with guest and other members. Our business meetings are about 30 minutes followed by a “social hour” and fellowship, and then a great catered dinner at a very reasonable price. (Reservations are required!)
