Top o’ the mornin’ to ya !!
Okay, I’m not Irish...but I can still enjoy the traditional celebration of St. Patrick’s Day which will be the theme underlying our next meeting and dinner.
For those who missed our last meeting, we honored our Sweethearts (in keeping with Valentine’s Day) at our Stated Meeting Dinner.  I was really very pleased at the number of Sweethearts that were able to attend and many of them let me know afterwards how much they appreciated the evening and the courtesies extended by the Scottish Rite bodies.  Everyone seemed to really enjoy the evening.
I want to remind everyone that we have a Reunion coming up on April 11th and 12th.  Although we have a lot of people participating in the degrees and all the setup that goes around them, we still have opportunities (and needs) for others to pitch in and help.  So, this is my pitch for you to get involved.  If there’s a particular function that you think you’d like to be part of, let me or Bob Rowan know.  If you’re willing to help wherever needed, again, just let us know.
I want to thank everyone that contributes so much of their time, energy, and effort to making our events successful.  Your consistent assistance is really appreciated.
There’s much to do and sometimes the load can seem too much....but if we all do our share, the task will not be more than we can handle.  St. Francis de Sales said, “We shall steer safely through every storm, so long as our heart is right, our intention fervent, our courage steadfast, and our trust fixed on God.  If at times we are somewhat stunned by the tempest, never fear.  Let us take a breath and go on afresh.”  This is much easier to do when we have each others’ support.  Are you willing to give us your support?  See you on Tuesday night!
