Brethren and Ladies:

I have two issues to relate in this month’s message.  One very negative and one very positive.
I am going to approach territories that are not comfortable for me or many of you.  None-the-less, it my personal opinion that I must share my thoughts with you.

Today I needed to see my Doctor for something that was very minor.
On arrival I was properly checked in by the Doctor’s staff and was questioned about my insurance.  (very normal).  When I responded that they did not need to file a claim because I would pay the bill in cash, I was informed that under the new ObamaCare law the decision was no longer my own personal choice.  The Doctor would be fined if a claim were not filed.  My choices were to accept or refuse treatment (no more, no less) .   Unfortunately I acquiesced and agreed to filing a claim even though I was prepared to pay in cash.    I am not certain that I should have done so.
What we all are facing is a further reduction of our own personal liberties and freedoms.  A congress of these United States of America, who exempted themselves from the laws they have legislated  for the rest of us have created a severe reduction of our own personal liberties which were guaranteed by our Constitution and Bill of Rights!
Instead, they have made laws that restrict our freedoms and have exempted themselves from the provisions of each law.
The Obama-Care Law must be repealed!!!
On a positive note, the next amendment to our constitution needs to be one that states::
“ WITHOUT EXCEPTION, ALL MEMBERS OF CONGRESS SHALL BE INCLUDED IN THE PROVISIONS OF EACH LAW PASSED AND SHALL NOT BE EXEMPT FROM THOSE PROVISIONS”

Fraternally,
Robert D. Rowan, Jr.
General Secretary
