Brethren all,

Here we are at the month of November already.  The year has definitely traveled its course in a manner that I expected but did not welcome.  Why can’t I have more time to enjoy my friends, family and Brothers?  For me personally it has been a difficult year, especially learning to live alone; to prepare meals for one; and to attend events without my wife Sandy.  I do miss her immensely.
I will be taking some time off over the Thanksgiving Holiday to travel with my son and daughter and that is a long overdue trip.  I wish each and every one of you and your families a delightful Thanksgiving Holiday!!
We are entering our holiday season celebration with our fall reunion.  As said elsewhere in this message, it should really be called our RE-YOU-NION.  If you have not encouraged a Masonic Brother to make application to the San Jose Scottish Rite, why don’t you consider doing just that.  At the very least, you could join us for one or more of the degrees conferred for the class.  We would love to see you.
As the Holiday season approaches, please remember that your own San Jose Scottish Rite Children’s Language Disorders Clinic, needs your support.  If you make a contribution to the California Scottish Rite Foundation, be sure to designate our San Jose Clinic as your intended recipient, or better yet, make a contribution directly to San Jose.  You know the address and phone number.

Fraternally,  Bob Rowan - General Secretary
