From the Master of Kadosh (May, 2014)

On March 30th a number of us traveled to Alameda to visit the USS Hornet.  We were met there by Russ Kennedy, who is both a Mason and one of the docents on the ship, and were treated to a great tour, which included parts of the ship that are not regularly available to the
general public.  For those that have never been to the Hornet, I can highly recommend it.  We then went and had lunch at a very nice restaurant that had a view of both the ship and the harbor behind.  And finally we ended our day having a great time wine tasting at a local tasting room.
Everyone that went had a most enjoyable day.  Please look for other upcoming social events and join with your Scottish Rite brothers and their families in participating.  Your leadership is trying very hard to provide such opportunities, so take advantage of them.
I know that I will sound like a broken record, but I will be including this in each message until the event.
Please mark it on your calendars and plan to attend.
The Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite will be at our June 10th Stated Meeting.
We want to fill the building for this event and expect a number of out of town guests, Including the Grand Master.
This will be RESERVATIONS ONLY for dinner. We are preparing a very special meal for this night and seating will be limited. Make your reservations now with Angela by email (aathans@sanjosescottishrite.org) or
by phone. (408-978-7483) The dinner is $25 and will need to be pre-paid by check or credit card.
By next month we will have a finalized Menu for the dinner, and it will be one you DON’T want to miss!!

Fraternally,
Gregg Hall
