From the Master of Kadosh (February, 2014)

First of all, I would like to thank the Brethren for allowing me to serve this year as the Master of Kadosh.  This is the second opportunity I have had to sit in the East of one of the Scottish Rite Bodies, and it is truly an honor.
We have some exciting events scheduled this year, both here and outside the lodge.  In March we are planning to go tour the  USS Hornet, and then go around the corner to visit the St. George distillery. Look for the details next month. Then, on June 10, the Sovereign Grand Commander will be joining us, along with our own Grand Master, for our Stated Meeting and Dinner. We are expecting a completely full house, so make your reservations early.  It would be a shame if we had more visitors than members, so please make that meeting a priority.  And finally, we are going to go to New Orleans and the trip is going to be great! We will be staying at a First Class Hotel in the heart of the French Quarter, taking several tours of the city and the outlying areas, a steamboat cruise and are planning a few events with the Scottish Rite down there. But—the trip is all about having a good time, so please join us!
Finally, we have about 900 members in our bodies, but we usually only have 30 or so members show up to any given meeting.  You all pay your dues, and we would really like it if you came down and joined us once in a while.  As such, I am asking that each of you pick a month and plan on attending the meeting.  If you are in an outlying area - get a group together. If you can't make the Tuesday Stated Meeting, pick one of the reunion dates or one of the fun events, but please make a commitment to participate.

Fraternally,
Gregg Hall 32o
Master of Kadosh
