From the Commander of Kadosh (February 2018)

posted Feb 8, 2018, 3:00 PM by San Jose Scottish Rite

We have started this year with a phenomenal installation of officers. This was followed by good food and fellowship. I would like to thank all that were able to make it that evening. The participation by attending membership, brethren, friends, and guests is what makes the  good times we have exponentially flourish.

We are looking forward to making our own fun as the Council of Kadosh, giving an opportunity for us to go out for a day of shooting. We are looking to spend an afternoon at Coyote Creek Sporting Clay in Morgan Hill CA. This is an outdoor course with 20 different stations for all levels of shooter. Future date will be provided for this event followed by lunch.

The word "Kadosh" is a Hebrew word meaning "Holy". When we open the book Morals and Dogma, we see the the numerous pages Albert Pike dedicated to these degrees. If you have not, or, not in a while read through these holy, mystical, and beautiful degrees it is something worth making time for.
