Brethren,

By the time you read this article the Spring Reunion will have passed. I had the opportunity to sit in class with the new candidates and receive a mind refresher. You are never too old to learn something new or to relearn something that you had forgotten. I encourage all the Brothers (young and old) to take the time to sit in the classes and rituals to reaffirm our duties and to relearn that which had been stored in the back of our minds. We had a very healthy group of young minds to teach. To see more old timers (both young and old) at these teachings would certainly help them out.
Much like the baseball player who hits every ball pitched to him during practice but cannot hit a single ball when at the game, I made my first appearance at opening lodge at the last stated meeting. I want to thank those who helped me get through the evening. It is said “TO ERROR IS HUMAN” and I guess that I am much too human.
Brother Jack Harris has scheduled a Movie Night for Saturday, June 6th. It will be an opportunity for all of us to get together and have a good time.
The Council of Kadosh is trying to arrange an evening at a hilltop restaurant with the most spectacular view the City of San Jose. God willing, this will take place on the 29th of July (a Wednesday evening).
More information will be coming soon.
May 12th is our next Stated Meeting so I hope to see all of you there. Make sure to call Angela and let her know that you are coming so that she can set out another plate.
Be well and GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

Will Montoya
Commander, Council of Kadosh
