We must all be builders of Scottish Rite membership. We should work to give new and current members, as well as those former members whom we need to reinstate, the pleasure of attending our meetings regularly, climbing the heavenly ladder and being builders of Scottish Rite Masonry.
Our Brotherhood, operating in lodges of labor and extending their talents throughout many lands, built many of the noblest structures of the Middle Ages.  Freemasonry was, in those days of violence, the ally of religion. The beauty and grandeur of tall Gothic spires, towering cathedrals and other amazing edifices built by our Masonic forebears, helped the Church to represent in physical form the sublime hopes of the soul aspiring to immortal life.
Today we labor to understand and practice the teachings of the Scottish Rite degrees.  Our degrees, when studied, absorbed and practiced, can help to bring spirituality and peace of mind to our daily lives.  Let us, therefore, strive to build our great Order stronger than ever so that Scottish Rite Masonry may continue to be a blessing to us and to all whom we recruit, reinstate and retain.
