The San Jose Scottish Rite Language Disorders Clinic’s extended family grew in August due to the birth of Anna Grace Stephan on August 27.  Proud father Clifford reports that Anna Grace and her mother, clinician Angela Stephan, are doing very well.  Congratulations, Angela & Clifford, and welcome, Anna Grace!
During August, we completed 215 treatment hours, including 2 screenings.  A total of 49 children are currently receiving speech and language services.  Thirteen (13) children were discharged and eight (8) children were added to the case load from our waiting list.  108 children remain on the waiting list.  Jenna Mendoca joined the clinic in August to take over Angela’s caseload through January 2012.  We anticipate that Jenna will add clients to her caseload in the coming months.
If you would like to assist the clinic by donating toys or helping in some other way, please contact the Scottish Rite office or me.

Respectfully,  Durward C. Ayre, 32° KCCH
Clinic Director
