M. is a sweet and friendly 12- year old boy who has been seen at this clinic for a little over a year. M. is extremely social and likes to chat with his clinician during his breaks. M. was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and Central Auditory Processing Disorder (CAP-D) in 2013. M. is seen once a week with Ms. Jenna and is currently working on producing age appropriate vocabulary in self-formulated sentences and following 3-4 step directions as his speech therapy goals. These goals are challenging for him but he works very hard each week to improve.
According to M.’s parents, before treatment at the San Jose Scottish Rite Clinic began, “M. had trouble understanding class assignments, focusing in class, and had low grades and test scores.” Following treatment here at the clinic, M.’s parents indicated that he, “is more confident. He is able to work past focus issues, and he is showing so much improvement that he has made the honor roll! In addition, M. is better able to communicate his needs. His therapist is amazing! Ms. Jenna works well with our son. She is kind, patient, and is able to reach in and pull out the best in M.. She has made a huge difference in M.’s life. The clinic is incredible!  Recommending this clinic to other family and friends is an absolute must!”
